Vincent Fulchiron
Vincent has 20 years of teaching and 27 years of coaching experience. Currently, he is a University Preparatory (UPrep) teacher, Exercise and Health Science teacher, and Varsity Boys’ Soccer Coach at The Preuss School in San Diego. He has spent his entire teaching career at The Preuss School for one very important reason; he believes in the mission of the school. The Preuss School helps low-income students who are the first generation in their families to attend college.
As a UPrep teacher, Vincent guides and mentors students and their families through the college-going process. He has worked with students from 9th through 12th grade. His last two UPrep cohorts, graduating in 2018 & 2022, had a 100% college acceptance rate. This teaching position covers topics such as college applications, essay prompts, extracurricular activities and community service guidance, and financial aid. In 2022, Vincent completed his College Counseling Certificate from UC San Diego Extension.
Vincent has coached soccer at almost every level in the United States. These include: youth club, high school, community college, NCAA D2, and NAIA. The varsity program he created at The Preuss School has a 20 year history of success on and off the field. During this time, 90% of his players were accepted to college, his teams won City, Conference, and Tournament Championships, and he takes pride in how his players develop into confident young men.
