NATE FLOWERS
Nate began coaching soccer in 2009 and has worked extensively in San Mateo and Santa Clara County for 12 years. He has a holistic approach to player development with a focus on goal settings with an overall growth mindset for individuals as a strategy to bring about the overall success of a team.
With a specialty in developing players and families to be prepared for MLS Next and Girls Academy, Nate has an acute knowledge of how to build technical, physical, mental and psychosocial foundational behaviors for the elite platforms of youth soccer. Nate has been a head coach, coaching director, most recently as the Director of U8-U13 boys and Director of Youth Development in MLS Next and GA club environment.. His most recent role at Palo Alto Soccer Club is working with two of their top performing teams in the club to prepare them to play in the MLS Next level.
Nate played Division 1 Soccer at San Jose State University and uses his personal recruitment and playing experience at the college level to support and push players towards a successful pathway.
Currently, Nate is head coaching the Santa Cruz Breakers U17 Girls Academy team and is the MLS Next Assistant Coach for Santa Cruz Breakers boys teams.
